Who we are?
The students from the 3rd course of secondary Vedruna Cardona school have worked in the “Mobile World Capital Barcelona” project; this competition has three sections and we had participated in the Mobile History Map section. The objective of this competition is geolocate a point and provide information about this place so the tourists have a good knowledge different emblematic places of Catalonia.
This project required a lot of dedication, time, team work, travel to do some interviews with historians who works in the “Municipal archives”, castle guides and restaurateurs among others and also we had to take pictures of our place (the Canonical Cardona), research in books...
We have divided the class in subgroups in order to specialize each of us in a different section. We talked about 7 different themes: history, art, music, theater, cinema, gastronomy and the Succession war. We must also say that another group has been dedicated to design and create a website for the project.
We hope that it will be useful and allow tourists to know our town.
